Description of Mitutoyo 543-791B πŸ“ Digimatic Indicator with Enhanced Graduation

As compact as standard series 2 dial indicators. After the initial zero-setting with the origin button, the repeated absolute positioning is no longer necessary over the entire battery life. Employing the absolute linear encoder, the id-s always displays the spindle "absolute position" from the origin at power-on, also unlimited response speed eliminates over-speed errors. SPC data output. Stem diameter 8mm, M2.5 x 0.45 Thread.

The build quality is sturdy and can withstand regular use. However, it is a bit expensive compared to other indicators in the market.

Excellent investment.

Made in Japan. Extremely accurate. Multiple gauges used to test repeatability. The limited factory is without a doubt the rigidity of the caliber holder. I bought the Noga along with this one and it still seems to move about 0.0001 inches when you touch the device, which isn't too surprising. I use it at work to set up devices and it's been a fantastic investment. Definitely worth it as it lasts a long time.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
