Bought this model with an Iron/Steel model. well done and easy to read. I'm not sure how they compare to Starret sensors, but they're a lot cheaper

This is a review in streaming. Unfortunately, I had to send my first one back because it was so poorly made! Machine marks and grooves made me doubt the accuracy. If you can't calibrate machine cut grooves to less than 0.125", how can we expect the grooves themselves to be within 0.002"? will replace the final decision. Right now you can go either way... Stay tuned!
