🍋 Silver Stainless Steel Citrus Reamer by MIU France - 3.75x3.75 inches Review

I needed a metal, not plastic, manual juicer to make 1 cup of lemonade. I like 3 sizes as local lemons (Estra is fresh and plentiful in California) grow from small to large. My hands are arthritis but I need this. I would have preferred if the detachable extensions could be attached to the base for ease of use rather than relying on gravity, but I'm used to them simply resting in grooves on the filter plate to prevent rotation and to negate their use. I also needed a dishwasher.

I bought this to squeeze orange juice. It is made of very high quality steel and has a great design. I usually use the largest and squeeze two oranges in about 5 minutes, then drink the juice and peel it in 15 seconds! When I eat pulp, it takes a long time. I think it can hold the juice of 4 oranges at the same time. I have to say it's fantastic because I can squeeze an orange thoroughly and get more juice than with an electric one. But I'm afraid my right wrist will wrinkle if I use it too…

Almost a great product with a serious design flaw. There is a flange on the base/filter plate, the part between the cones and the drip pan, which is presumably designed to allow the drip pan to rotate down and pour out while keeping the bottom plate and cones level. This almost destroys the instrument's good qualities and causes frequent spilling of juice or skittles.
