As I'm a man with larger than average wrists, normal hair ties don't fit my wrist, so my fingers don't turn purple. Because they are wider I can wear them on my wrist which is a real blessing. They have no metal or stitching to snag on my hair and are tight enough to hold in a ponytail all day. These are absolutely the only hair ties I will be using from now on.
