For people who can't figure out how to use it, or think the bar isn't great for washing dishes, here's how people washed dishes before dish soap was invented. You can hold the bar under water and wipe off some soap to make the water soapy. And rub the sponge directly on the bar to make it soapy. It might be a little less convenient than liquid dish soap, but reducing plastic waste requires some sacrifices.
