Handles the basics well.

Fast and cheap! Get the job done! I had to put the hoses on alligator clips as the clamps were very sharp and the tension was high. I had to slightly tighten the friction points on the clips. But for the price I can't really complain.

A bit fiddly to set up, but worth it!

Well worth the price and helps my wife make necklaces and fine jewelry. Assembly was a bit odd as it required a "third hand" to assemble, but all went well. Once together it worked well for my wife's purposes. So far no problems.

I understand it was cheap but the holes in the clamp mounts looked like someone had drilled them.

I understand it was cheap but like the clamp bracket holes they looked like someone hand drilled them and bad and they are so off center. The part that connects to the base is so loose that it falls sideways under its own weight and cannot be tightened. One of the alligator clips is loose and popping out. I would not recommend buying.
