Suitable for wide flat feet

These shoes are comfortable for my flat foot. The only downside is that they're nowhere near as good as Mizuno's top motion control trainer, the long-discontinued Wave Renegade 3.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not sure

Wave Inspire Enhancement

I've been using Wave Inspires for 10 years. This time I switched to Horizons. I just came back from the first run and I would say they feel a 40% improvement. I love foamy waves. The shoes are lighter, softer, breathe better and still seem to support me well as I have some issues with pronation. Oddly enough, it inspires me to run more.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Vulgarity

decent team sport shoes

I've been buying Mizuno Wave Paradox shoes for years and LOVE them. When Mizuno hired Paradox, I decided to try Horizon. They're a bit heavier than the Paradox and don't feel as well ventilated - I get hotter in these shoes. They're still Mizuno, so they fit well, are comfortable, and control my pronation. Next time I'll take the Inspire (and save some money).

Great for Disney at Athletic

I bought these shoes while at Disney. I'm not a runner but I bought Mizuno running shoes for a trip to Disney 10 years ago. For our last trip I decided to do the same. I'm sure they're comfortable for walking, but they were great for walking and exercising during my trip to Disneyland. Would recommend to anyone looking for comfortable shoes. The fit was as expected.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Nothing here

Poor design and cheap materials

I bought the same version in a different color earlier this year. These shoes were so comfortable that in March I bought a second pair to change into and not wear too quickly while walking. The first pair began to tear at the healing site, forming a large hole that rubbed the blister. I contacted Mizuno and they sent a new pair (newer version) as they were less than 3 months old. Exactly the same problem just started. I love the Mizuno, but I won't pay more than $150 for poor workmanship.

Pros
  • Solid build

Just the right support

When I run, my knees are like a little support - and my heels are like a pretty fluffy cushion. This shoe meets all requirements, especially for running 10 km and longer. Looks good, well built, very durable, should last many miles. And it doesn't seem like he has too much support - enough. My three runs were very comfortable and my feet were happy. I wish it was a little lighter and cooler. FYI: I usually wear New Balance and Brooks men's sneakers in a size 8.5, but with Mizuno I have to goโ€ฆ
