When I run, my knees are like a little support - and my heels are like a pretty fluffy cushion. This shoe meets all requirements, especially for running 10 km and longer. Looks good, well built, very durable, should last many miles. And it doesn't seem like he has too much support - enough. My three runs were very comfortable and my feet were happy. I wish it was a little lighter and cooler. FYI: I usually wear New Balance and Brooks men's sneakers in a size 8.5, but with Mizuno I have to go half a size up to a size 9. In a standard size 9, this shoe fits me perfectly.
