🔍 Mobil 1 Extended Performance Oil Filter - Model M1-108A Review

I used this on my 2003 Nissan 350z and it worked perfectly. Great value for a product and Mobil 1 is a highly respected car care brand. A highly recommended product compared to other expensive brands!

108a for my subaru impreza but all stores say 110a fits. I called the factory that makes the filters. They say it's 108a according to their books. I think stores are trying to reduce shelf inventory. They both fit, one is only 1/2 inch larger.

I bought a new Mazda CX-5 almost 5 years ago and I still only use Mobil 1 oil. It now has 93,000 miles on the Mobil 1 Extended High Mileage formula . The Mobil 1 filter is specifically designed for this oil. A small investment to keep any vehicle in tip-top shape. It's just smart to use the best oil and filter designed for it.

This is a great filter at a great price for those of us looking to save a few bucks and change the oil at home. I have a wife and two children for a total of four cars. I use the highest quality synthetic oil and quality filters. I need a machine and can make any machine for about half the price of a quick lube or stop lube. It pretty much adds up!

Not much to say about this filter other than it fits my Honda Insight exactly and costs about half what Honda charges for a stock filter . They are the same size and have the same amount of filter material inside. The rubber seal is also identical to the previous filters I've used. I don't expect any surprises even though this is my first time buying a Mobil 1 filter for one of my cars. I have used Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil for many years and expect this filter to be a good match.

I knew from the start that the filter was off and much larger than the real Mobile 1 filter. I usually buy filters from either Pep-Boys or Walmart and have never had this problem. Ordered as I am currently doing a lot of work on my 350z which is on stands. I am furious and cannot understand that there are counterfeit oil filters. After reading a review that a reviewer had received a fake filter I decided to use the M1-108A filter that I received from Revain (sold and supplied by Revain). to compare to the one I bought from Advance ( reputable national auto parts dealer). They are identical except for the format of the serial number. Approximate dimensions are 2.75 inches in diameter and 2.75 inches long.
