[UPDATE] I'm not sure about the battery but after a few months they start to fail intermittently. I have to reset the TPMS in iDrive about once a week. the change to 2 stars works fine on my 2009 335i e93 pre-lci. Make sure you use the app sheet on the manufacturer's website to ensure it works for your vehicle. Installation took a few minutes, a few more minutes the machine registered new sensors, and now the TPMS indicators are gone!

Bought and installed for 2008 135i. I just installed them on a second set of non-BMW wheels that I installed snow tires on. They also work well in checking TPMS. In the vehicle settings, they are displayed in green for all 4 wheels. A small problem is that the machine does not recognize them immediately. Therefore, the message "Install TPMS" is displayed, which must be accepted. There's really no need to reset them, but they take a little while to pick up every time you turn on the device.

Installed these in my 2014 Touareg wheels (actually 2014 Cayenne wheels are 18"), function tested before installation as I'm from cheap ebay was scorched. Dealing with OEM sensors that were DOA but only discovered after installation. They match the Cayenne wheels well, although they don't sit perfectly flush against the inside of the wheel like the OEMs do. You will be activated on the 1/10 mile TPMS system, amazing! Highly recommended for this price.

They worked perfectly on my 2008 BMW 335i with no problems. I took the wheels and gauges to Costco for fitting, mounting, and balancing, and Costco had the tools needed to do whatever it took to get them working (not sure how much setup their gauge needs, but they said it wasn't a problem and they were right - I think most/all tire shops these days have the programming tool needed for tire pressure sensors). First I have to admit, the sensors work. However, they are of very poor quality. I bought them for my Audi RS7 because I needed them for an extra set of rims and tires that I have. The main problem is that the washers don't fit well and are too soft. This causes shaft sensors to leak no matter how hard you tighten them. Also, one of the sensors is intermittent.
