Sensor not programmable

I could not program this sensor I have an Autel TS401 programmer and it is not programmable for my Lexus GX470. It shows code -2 that it may be defective or not suitable for my truck.

Quality product: Accessories and parts

The product was received on time and worked perfectly. I ordered it for a friend traveling abroad and it arrived very quickly. Plugged into the car and it works perfectly. I will definitely recommend this product.

Spare parts: tires and wheels

The displays still show a flashing display on the dashboard. I'm still waiting for them to restart. It's been a week and it's still flashing. I gave the car to Discount Tire, they told me to drive the car again. They couldn't tell me when the sensors would reset themselves.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities

  • Discontinued model

2009 Lexus ES350 via Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

When you buy new tires from Americas Tire, they're a good fit for the 2009 Lexus ES350. Buy 5 if your replacement has a sensor. Don't buy sensors from a tire dealer, they are too expensive. Simply ask your dealer to install and program your controller. My dashboard warning light went off after the installer registered each sensor in the ECU.

Pros
  • Lots of goodies

Preprogrammed with 8 digit ID - not Prius compatible

The listing claims the sensor is preprogrammed for Toyota compatibility and PartsFinder says the sensor is compatible with my 2010 Prius. NOT SO. The sensor is pre-programmed with an 8-digit ID. My Prius only accepts a 7 digit ID. So if you don't want to and can't reprogram the ID of this sensor, it is not compatible with vehicles that only accept a 7 digit ID.

Pros
  • Value for money
Cons
  • Security

Works great and can save a bunch of bucks

Lexus charged $200 per tire to replace the tire pressure sensors. Received them and took them to a tire shop here in Naples, Florida. The manager was less optimistic that they would work. But when he could "read" them directly into the boxes with his E-Meter, he got even more excited. Bought 5 because a faulty sensor in the spare would also turn on the dashboard light. They've been for a month and are working great! Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The sensors are working and were replaced by the OEM on a 2008 RAV4 Limited.

Replaced with OEM sensors which were 12 years old and from what I've read have worked for quite a while. Two out of five sensors on the vehicles failed, like all of them. Found a workshop that would assemble and install a tire position sensor on the car. The tire icon on the dashboard will be reset upon installation. A significant amount of money was saved by purchasing sensors directly from Revain and finding a tire shop to work with. Some auto sellers, including dealerships, charged more than

Good product, make sure the tire shop knows how to program them.

They cost many times cheaper than normal sensors. I used mine on a 2006 Toyota Prius. The dealer charges $200 for the sensor. I had to change all 4 tires so I decided to change all 4 sensors as well. I bought all 4 parts for about 100€. (Saved $700!) The tire shop I used was able to ship them for free. So far, so good. However, for some reason the tire shop couldn't get the car to learn the new sensor codes. That means the sensors were there but the tire pressure light was still on. Called the…

I regret my purchase.

I have a Toyota Prius 2008. I bought three of these TPMS sensors. They work, but I regret buying them because of the difficulty I had setting them up. Although they say they are pre-programmed, you still need to "sync" them to your car. You not only need the reset button for this, but special equipment and know-how. Most places that install TPMS sensors (chains like Discount Tire and Mom and Dad Stores) will install them for $20 each, but they can't "sync" them. I searched for a place where…
