I didn't realize that you actually have to screw in the vase, just like you would a light bulb. That makes it so the vase cannot fall out of the holder, adding to its sturdiness.

My only complain is that the metal part was loose and the bottom part fell. I modified the rolled metal string the way you see on the picture because it kept on falling. Now it doesn't fall. The space is enough for 1 small plant. I should have go with the other models. Still looks good.

It’s very cute. I went to change out the water on this by removing the bulb from the stand. The design could be better. You basically just screw the bulb into the stand but it gets stuck easily. I barely applied pressure to the bulb and it shattered in my hand. The glass went every where and cut my hand.

Adorable concept and item looked exactly as pictured, however if you are going to use it to propagate plants you will have problems. The opening at the top of the glass bulb is VERY tiny and if your plant has sprouted too many roots you’ll break them trying to take it out.

The product itself is super cute. However once the lightbulb is screwed in you cant remove it. This makes cleaning very difficult. When attempting to unscrew the lightbulb it shattered with the slightest touch.

These were a cute gift for the admission in our electrical utility office. Found very fitting. Only suggestion, no picture of what product should look like, or how to assemble. Once I showed them they loved it.

The vase is too fragile almost ethereal. The package was fine but the rim shattered. I imagine either way will brake when putting weight aka water

I've had this for about 11 months now and it's held up great. My plant is happy living in the bulb and requires very little maintenance. I change the water and trim up the roots of the plant every month or two and it's doing great.

It's a beautiful piece of art. Don't put too much water in it - I put about 80% of water and found out next morning the bulb's neck broke with water spilled all around. Had to ask for a replacement. Now I don't fill more than half. Also don't screw the bulb all the way in; you'll have a hard time cleaning it if it's all the way in. Otherwise it's elegant and makes me happy just looking at it.

As you can probably guess from the roots, I have had this planter for over 8 months and am absolutely in love with it. So much so that I now give them as gifts. There are several variations on Best Buy, and my staff, friends, family that have received one, rave about it. Classy and elegant; is a great gift item!

I bought this item for gifts and they are so pretty. Difficult to prune and trim plants due to the vase's unique shape. One friend has it on her desk at work since she opened up the box!
