I ordered this salt and pepper grinder and gave it to myself for Christmas. Although the design and shape are nice, the salt mill stopped working after just a month. The batteries were changed, but that was no use. A mill turned upside down does not grind; Actually the light doesn't come on. The pepper mill is still working but that's a big disappointment considering they weren't cheap.

They lasted about 2 years. August 2018 - they're officially dead. About 6 months ago, when you turned them over to spread the spices, the pieces would no longer hold together. So we started using two hands to hold it all the way and we made it. Now they don't shred or even hold together easily. time for a replacement. They weren't expensive so maybe I was being too harsh. Operation They work well. With salt, I sometimes have to shake a bit to grind it up, but I don't find that a big problem. Capacity and filling A star deduction for that.
