This stopped them from barking the first time and after 3 days they think twice before even barking. I bought this device to control my dog's jumping when greeting visitors. Even though it only weighs 25 pounds, it's too big to jump on my young grandkids, and let's face it, not everyone wants a dog to jump on them.
