DO NOT BUY this chair ON AMAZON

I am a normal height 5'11 195# human. Two of the legs at the base of this chair broke. Revain advised me to contact the manufacturer. You changed chairs. I didn't want a whole new chair, just a broken part. The second chair broke in the same way. Now I have two useless chairs. Returning or replacing the chair is NOT an option as I bought it from Revain. I will NEVER buy Revain equipment or anything of value again. They sell crap and manufacturers are not responsible for returns when you buy…

Modway customer service poor

Update after 1 year the chair sinks every time I sit in it, the hydraulics have been removed. I endured it and got up a few times to set up a meeting - annoying! Not a quality product at all. Switch to a different brand. I bought this chair for a bar table and it is almost perfect. It comes without the little plastic button on the height adjustment lever. I tried to get Modway to send me this little pen but instead they told me to take the whole huge chair apart and return it. Em no. This is a…

Uncomfortable in chairs and sofas

I owned the chair for about 3 months before donating it to charity. The chair was excellent. Everything I was looking for with my bar table. When I sat down after a few months, I felt so uncomfortable that I just got up again. Which I thought was somewhat helpful, but sometimes you just want to sit down and focus on something or just relax. The seat felt like I was sitting on a flat piece of wood with no padding. Eventually I got fed up and decided to use the dining room chair until I could…

Great High Table Chair

This is a well designed and well made chair that is easy and quick to assemble. I conclude that it is worth the money. My only negative comment relates to the oversimplified one-page instructions that clearly show how to assemble the chair. It is curious that not all parts are marked with letters, and some small parts, especially washers, are difficult to distinguish from each other. There were very few assembly questions that could be answered with simple verbal instructions, but the sheet…

A week, weak, no backrest

The chair is comfortable except for the build quality. Also bad back support as you can't keep your back in place, it only has a heading to the max limit and then doesn't stop at 90 degrees so you don't look like you're about to go to sleep. This stool is bar height and I love the fact that it rises high enough to fit the bar position or standing tables. Hands fall randomly. Great design overall but lacks the main fictional back support, arm support and weak legs which broke it for me after 5…

Exactly what I was looking for!

I have a table for sitting and standing with a standard chair and then a special table was fitted as an extra work surface with the intention of rotating my chair from one area to another. However, due to the height of the custom filing cabinets under my new desk, the surface matches the height of the counter. I researched a variety of adjustable "sign" chairs from height to standard desk height, with adjustable armrests, leg ring, style, cost, and decent reviews, and this seemed to fit my…

So comfy and perfect for my standing desk!

I use this with my Ikea high table which is adjustable so I can lower the table and chair. Note that with a gas lift to adjust the height, you need to take your weight off by lifting your feet onto the silver ring/rail to raise it up, or simply get off your chair and lift it all the way up and then climb in need chair and lower it to the desired height. The chair serves its purpose perfectly. When you place your feet on the ring, your knees must be bent more than 90 degrees. If this bothers…
