Easy to install for faucet parts

Original spout is about 15 years old, didn't drain well, new unit installed works great. We couldn't believe how much water used to go down the drain. Easy to assemble under pressure.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Very expensive

Had to return but exchange experience was phenomenal

Wrong part number received (professional plumber missed) so had to exchange. It was a perfect color match to what I had. The exchange was clean and fast. Couldn't be happier.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Useless features

Good Moen product for rough plumbing

If the price is the same everywhere, is it worth it? Anyway, Home Depot and Holys sold out, Amazon took notice. Delivered well, no scratches. Like all of Moen's recent polished nickel finishes, this one matches the original BN lights BUT they are different. It's a little lighter. But a nice ending. It fits perfectly with the overflow lid and drain of the current BN model. Works the same as most outlet switches.

  • Lots of positive emotions

Didn't divert all the water to the shower head

This bypass valve looks nice and is very easy to install, however it didn't divert all the water to the shower head. A fairly constant trickle came out of the diverter, even after I screwed the plug in. I want 100% of the water (or at least 97%) to be drained because it was such a simple setup. I returned it with no problem and bought a Mixet diverter from one of the big stores for half the price. The Mixet diverter is also very easy to install and I've only noticed the occasional dripping from

High quality, durable

I was happy to find this replacement for my 11 year old Monticello spout that wasn't draining the shower head properly. I was expecting a lower quality replacement but was pleasantly surprised when the spout arrived. It's durable and a good weight (unlike the cheap, lightweight replacement spouts you find at Home Depot or your local hardware store). The finish perfectly matches the existing fittings. Installation took only a few minutes, drains water very well. Now only a few drops of water…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Replaceable

The original Moen spout I had was bolted on.

I had the original Moen outlet on the thread, this has a different position, it uses a clamping system. In order for this to work, I need to cut off the threaded portion of the pipe with a pipe cutter (copper pipe) and then clamp it using a specific method. You cannot cut off a threaded connection with a hacksaw, as the edges must be clean so as not to damage the o-ring that forms the seal. I can, but I doubt it because I've never used this new system. It seems to me that this yoke can break…

Heavy Duty Faucet Parts

bath spout well built and designed for heavy use. Many available spouts are flimsy and cheap. This is an overhead type and although my original spout was threaded it was easy to cut the threads and the copper tubing coming out of the wall to the recommended length. Clean the tube with sandpaper and put on a new one. Be sure to caulk the area where the pipe enters the shower wall to prevent water from entering the wall. During use, the spout can be easily closed to install the shower. It stays…

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • questionable purchase for the elderly

Make sure you get the right type - exposed or threaded

I'm happy with the diverter as it directs all but one portion of the water into the shower head but that's not the one reason writing. As others have pointed out, there are two ways to install a divertor. It is important to choose the type of switch that matches the one being replaced. This block is an overhead redirector. He expects to find a smooth copper tube that you will thread through the bushing in the diverter. You tighten things with a hex bolt. If you are replacing a clamp diverter…

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • Nothing here
