🚰 Moen 9700 M-PACT Wallmount Bathroom Faucet Valve for 1/2-Inch CC Rough-in Review

I chose Moen because of the style of fairing kits available. But if parts are ever needed they are readily available and their customer service is generally pretty good. The valves work as expected and the stops are positive.

Well designed block - easy to install - I'm a fan of the Moen line and valves - easy to find parts after the fact. Just as good as the more stylish European brands for half the price and the convenience of finding cartridges years later when you need them.

The distance between the faucet nozzles and the outlet was almost 2.5 cm different between hot and cold. When I contacted the seller, all of his inventory was the same. I ended up getting one from Moen, which is fine. After a month it seems to be working.

Great valve. I bought it for various bathroom renovations. It's nice to have space in the back. The M-PACT system is great and takes the stress out of finding the 'perfect' finish for my rebuild, although I wish they had more compatible jigs to choose from. I was willing to spend more than that, but I didn't have to.

Hard to tell about the item itself; it works as advertised. But there is a lot to say for Moen. It was being renovated for a powder room and the tiler was trying to install a spout. He's not a plumber, but he smashed the valve's central fitting. We called Moen and they provided a new valve free of charge. Customer service on this scale usually turns a person into a lifetime Moen customer!

These things are very difficult to install but that's only because the dimensions have to be perfect for your finished wall. If you are willing to use a wall mounted faucet, either for the looks or lack of countertop space, then this is the best option. It's the easiest to work with.
