This stuff sucks, you know about other people's hair, but I have thick black hair. I put it on and it brought me back to life. It's easy to wash off. Black women, it doesn't make hair brittle. I recommend applying a moisturizer before applying, especially if you leave it on for more than a day. Didn't add much on first try but will be brighter next time.

I ordered red and gold for fun. I applied it to damp, conditioned hair and once dried added more color for a deeper shade. I really like it because it created a different look without constant commitment. Can be washed out directly. It's dirty until it dries. I use side by side whites to see how I would look if I ever let my gray color grow out. Great price just to add some flair.

My 13 year old daughter wanted to try gray so I bought this as a stocking filler. When she used it, she looked cute but old. Since I let my hair go gray naturally, I tried it and loved it! I managed to adjust the length of my hair to the top and it looked pretty natural. It washes off skin and hair very easily and I've had no problems staining clothes or pillows. I gave this 3 stars because it really shows up on dark hair. I've been dying my hair red for 2 years and am looking for a safer alternative. In my photos you can see my roots before and how they were cared for. But red is definitely not red. It's more pink than anything else. I like that it is easy to apply and very easy to rinse off. I'm not very happy with the end result, although my hair looks like I just dipped it in color. Maybe I would use it for cosplay but nothing else.
