Noticeable noise reduction

Use this cable with AT4040 in Scarlet 4&4. I found that there was a fairly noticeable reduction in noise when using the Mogami compared to the cheaper cable I had. I'm glad the extra cost was worth it!

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Compatibility

THANK YOU SO MUCH! - Live sound and stage

Worth every penny and you can believe all the hype about it. I have a project studio that is prone to electrostatic background effects/noise. Even with longer lengths, it was possible to keep these noises in check. Now my demos are more like a professional studio product. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • For seniors

Excellent quality for Live Sound & Stage

Excellent quality. I've used the more basic Monoprice Stage Right XLR cables in the past, but found their sockets to not snap on some of the recessed connectors. They have Neutrik connectors and they work great and the general build quality is great too.

Pros
  • understandable also for the old ones
Cons
  • Some problems

Best Cables for Stage and Studio Cables

I'm new to mics, XLR cables etc but I have a good ear when it comes to audio. On good advice I switched to these Mogami cables. The difference is clearly noticeable. I am happy with my purchase and will not purchase anything other than Mogami cables in the future.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Expensive

You get what you pay for

I've started noticing static and other noise in my last few video podcasts. I used homemade micro center XLR cables which worked but nothing special. A friend of mine who is a full time DJ told me about this brand and the gold version. I was a little surprised at the price of the 15ft cable, but after my first recording with it I realized the money had to be spent. The quality is excellent.

Pros
  • everything is great!
Cons
  • Some bugs

This is a real studio cable, not a flimsy mic cable.

I make voices for my living, and every component in my signal chain needs to be as quiet, colorless, and reliable as possible. I researched the microphone cables carefully before deciding on the Mogami Gold Studio cables. Mogami calls these cables Neglex Quad, meaning they have four conductors โ€” the usual two signal wires and a ground wire common to all XLR cables, plus a bare copper shield wrapped around the cable. the other three conductors. The insulation is flexible, but significantlyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging
