This is a decent cotton for keeping your moisturizer on your hands or to prevent it from spreading to other things after application. I use it in the evening, right before bed. The thickness is like a thin cotton T-shirt. Personally I would prefer thicker ones to create an extra barrier but they work. Not very convenient to use with a touchscreen.
