Perfect fit, appears to be the same material as Garmin original. One thing I did was remove the clasp from the old tape. This is held in place by one of those spring-loaded pins that can fail, and the Garmin is held in place by same-sized head screws as the watch strap, so it was easy to rock. My original band lasted about 15 months and I've worn it every day, if it lasts half that it's worth it.

The strap itself is nice and similar in comfort and appearance to other interchangeable straps I've bought for my Fenix 3. The price is cheap but only includes 1 screwdriver and no spare screws or strip. If you haven't replaced the tape before, you'll need screwdrivers, one to hold the page in place and the other to unscrew it. Not much: bought a T6 driver from a home store for $5 and was able to remove the old one and put this in.

This was the second time in 4 years that I have replaced the strap on my Fenix 3. Last time I replaced it with a Garmin strap but I was able to turn down the price of this replacement strap and it has good reviews. The band is slightly thinner than the original and slightly more flexible. Update: This error is absolute garbage. After my initial problems, the group looked good. But today (07/22/21) the lock fell off. So... don't buy this strap. Pros: Less than 20% the cost of an overpriced Garmin factory strap for the Fenix 3. It fits the watch exactly like the factory strap. Factory silicone strap. The metal buckle is also much thinner and thinner than the Garmin. (The solution is detailed below and in the image.)
