Check the case for holes (or lack thereof) for the volume and power buttons.

I love this iPad case (rose gold). However, I would give it 5 stars; I noticed that I was having a lot of trouble with the volume (up/down) and power (on/off) functions. At first I thought the case didn't quite fit my iPad. Finally, I removed the case from the iPad to ensure there were no holes in the case for these functions. So I opened them up with little tools and WOW! Through these holes I was able to make contact! Much happier now. Perhaps the manufacturer overlooked something? I wouldn't

CHEAP! Computers & Accessories

Fits iPad Gen 8, but if you use a screen protector on your device the corners prevent the screen protector from sitting and blistering underneath. We tried to perfect the screen protector many times to make it work and NO DEAL!

Cute Case Bags, Cases & Covers

My 7 year old daughter uses this case for her new iPad. We didn't test it in drop tests or anything like that, but the iPad in the case fell off the couch onto the carpet and nothing happened to the iPad. The color was exactly what my daughter wanted, she loves light purple.
