For the price it does a good job. My main complaint is the need for a function key to use features that I use frequently. quickly. It's much cheaper than the Microsoft keyboard. I recently bought a Microsoft keyboard (won some money in the lottery) and despite the cost, this is the keyboard I use now. I was actually most interested in this case as a lightweight flip case for my Surface Go. As for performance in this regard, EXCELLENT! Again, the ability to use this for a keyboard cover is great! It's super responsive, has great feel and a responsive touchpad. Looks good and probably does everything an OEM product can. I like the price and the quality seems better than what I'm paying for. Good warranty so we'll see how it works after I've owned it for a year. So far I have not regretted it!

I just got it so I can't vouch for the battery life or product longevity, but the mouse pad is much easier to use and has more intuitive controls. The keyboard is a good clone of the Microsoft keyboard. The back is made of soft fabric and the front is made of hard plastic. The Microsoft keyboard is more aesthetically pleasing, but I think this one will last longer. The buttons really click.
