I much prefer this cover to the one made with/for the Surface Go and I find it cheaper too. I just got it so I can't vouch for the battery life or product longevity, but the mouse pad is much easier to use and has more intuitive controls. The only thing I expect might be an issue is that the keys are smaller and more difficult to type if you have big hands or fat fingers. The keys are more like buttons than the flat overlays on a Microsoft touchscreen. Using the Fn function is much easier, and there's a clearly labeled Fn lock so you can be sure you're pressing "F1" and not "Mute" and the like. There's also a single button that disables the mouse pad, which has been a problem for me when typing on the Surface in the past. The reason I bought this new cover in the first place was because the mouse pad on the original cover was damaged and both overly sensitive and unstable. By simply running my hands over it, the sections of the document I had typed were highlighted and quickly erased. This MoKo model allows me to quickly turn off the mouse pad so I can type with confidence. The main issue I expect is that it has its own battery and no tablet power so it needs to be charged separately, but this is easily handled with a standard micro USB charging cable. The one that comes with it is a bit short and doesn't include a charger, but longer cables and chargers are easy to find these days. And the advantage, of course, is that thanks to the Bluetooth function, you do NOT need to connect a keyboard to the tablet and you can conveniently place the tablet at eye level. I would definitely recommend this type of Surface Go case in addition to the strap model that comes with the tablet for a (higher) surcharge.
