Love MB products but this article doesn't seem to be true. I prefer Black Pepper but I chose Russian Leather. I thought I'd smell a little like brandy and a cigar on top of luxurious leather by the fireplace on a winter's day, but I smelled old cigarettes and vodka in the back seat of a very cold leather cab. Suds and overall wash pH also seemed suspicious. Not the usual standard I've come to expect from MB. I gave it to a friend who smokes and he loves it.

Love all Molton Brown products. I have almost every scent of shower gel. Of all the scents, I liked this one the least. The aroma is very light. Almost imperceptibly. Since smells are a preference, I won't say it smells bad. Because honestly it doesn't smell bad, I just don't like it.

I have used hand wash and bath and shower gel. that there are other products that you can buy cheaper, that other products smell the same. I can't say whether other products smell the same. It may or may not be true, but it doesn't matter. It's easy to argue that there are cheaper options. This is definitely true. This soap is a luxury item in my opinion, but that's not the main thing. We used this and other Molton products after a trip to Scotland about 4 years ago. We use a variety of their products, from body washes to shampoos and conditioners to lotions. They're all great in that we just use them and have won the hearts of many of our family members across the state. While we recently bought an order from Revain, Molton's website showcases a variety of products they make.

Very high quality, strong lasting fragrance, leaves the skin smooth. This time I ordered "Russian Skin", I didn't like the aroma that much. It's a bit like an ax + leather combo and I feel like it needs one more note in the scent to work. On my second purchase I bought Sandlewood Coconut and I am very pleased with the strength of the fragrance, the aromatic profile and the way I feel.

What a good looking product. Nice bottle and nice lid. Nice and thick and really lathers! Fantastic fragrance in a bottle. Here's the problem: the scent doesn't flow, the scent doesn't wash off, no odor lingers on the body. Well if you want a good shower gel and shampoo this is perfect. If you're looking for a body product/shampoo that smells amazing when you wash and stays on your skin, look elsewhere.
