Clean those 2nd-story windows!

You wanna climb a ladder, nah! This works great instead! Be sure to add the Ettore 6500 ProGrip to your order. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Works well not very sturdy fully extended but that is to be expected overall good quality and price
Cons
  • Might not be comfortable for extended use

DON'T BUY THIS! in my review

I just received this item today, and it already does not work. The top two sections won't lock. The bottom two sections won't come unlocked. Because it's too long to return, I am forced to eat this waste of money. I should have read the only review. I am very disappointed in the product and Walmart. Walmart won't help me out on this because they need to have the item back. How does one return a 9+ foot pole?

Pros
  • The pole’s reach eliminates the need for stretching to reach high places
Cons
  • Can require additional cleaning supplies to be effective

Ettore is a Family Owned and Customer Satisfaction Driven Company

I needed to replace an earlier Ettore 16 foot extension pole that wouldn't hold position or couldn't easily be adjusted. It was several years old and all I wanted to do was replace the plastic joint that's used to adjust the pole's length. I called Ettore to ask about the chance of purchasing the joint piece and was informed it was not a replacable part. They offered to pay for a replacement pole from my local Home Depot. At the time there was no inventory available and I found the replacement…

Pros
  • Nice sturdy pole.
Cons
  • Can be noisy when in use

Locking mechanism wears out too easily

I'm rating this product 2 stars because although it is lightweight and easy to use, the locking mechanism breaks too easily. I haven't had this for even a month yet and already the pole will not lock in place. It will SOMETIMES slightly grab the pole to hold its place, but the slightest movement will undo the lock and the pole will slide back into itself. The mechanism used to lock the pole is made of plastic. So what I think happens is everytime you go to lock or unlock the pole it eats a…

Pros
  • Description is exact. This is just what I needed!!
Cons
  • Can be tiring to use for extended periods

doesn't work correctly

the last extension on my pole wont screw lock into place so the pole cannot be extended the full 16 feet. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Quick
Cons
  • The locking mechanism can become less effective over time

No click-lock mechanism

Seems quality control is an issue. I purchased the 16' extension pole with click-lock (per description), and the product arrived with the hole where the button would be empty - ZIP, so the Ettore tips (squeegee, mop) that arrived with the pole won't stay on. Now trying for a pole replacement, and hope the next one has the mechanism in place.

Pros
  • Cleaning Tools
Cons
  • Can be tiring to move around for extended periods

Great extention pole!

This pole extends to reach our very high ceilings and with the attachment we were easily able to get rid of a bunch of cob webs. Works great!

Pros
  • 8.8 ounces
Cons
  • The length of the pole can be challenging to navigate in tight spaces

Works great! for my opinion

I got this to reach the top corners of a two-story foyer without having to lug out the ladder. Works great! That's my feedback.

Pros
  • Nice Product
Cons
  • Not appropriate for every cleaning task

I used this pole for about 30 minutes and then the threaded screw end (which is plastic FYI) broke off from the pole thus rendering it useless. It looked like it was constructed pretty well but I guess it didn't hold up for me. Getting a refund

Pros
  • Easily extends to desired length with quick open/close tapered clamp design; no need for ladders
Cons
  • Some people may find it difficult to manipulate

Great pole for my opinion

Ettore needs explanations with their product descriptions regarding what products work together. Purchased this to use with a window cleaning combo tool only to find that the two don't fit together properly. The pole itself is durable and works fine, but it would be nice to know before purchasing what products fit with each other.

Pros
  • small overall height retracted, very sturdy, extends to 16 feet. Just what I was looking for.
Cons
  • Tends to be more expensive than other cleaning tools

Clean Those High Places

We recently moved to a house with 20' ceilings in a couple of locations. Needed something to get at the cobwebs and the window sills in those high locations. Perfect tool for the job. Prior to ordering was concerned about how sturdy the pole fully extended might be. No problem. The pole fully extended is very sturdy and perfectly for dusting those high areas.

Pros
  • Ettore Products
Cons
  • More difficult to handle when wet or soapy

Defective. good for me

I had the exact same pole (as far as i can tell by looks) for 8 years, used weekly. Eventually the tightening mechanism on one of the sections stopped working, so I bought a replacement. The new pole failed from the get-go. Two sections would spin around and wouldn't tighten after a day of use.

Pros
  • I will use it in the fall. I looks like it will be easy to use.
Cons
  • Hard to reach certain areas like low corners or high ceilings

Great for Christmas lights

I used this for Christmas lights! Lightweight, sturdy. It did exactly what I needed. Can't reach the roof? This is better than the skinny cheap poles. I broke 2 of those. Get this. It's longer and much better.

Pros
  • It’s an affordable alternative to hiring a professional cleaning service
Cons
  • Can be challenging to assemble and disassemble

Best length stick clip

Bought this for use as a stick clip. Sometimes it's finicky when screwing/unscrewing to extend, but nothing too bad. It doesn't feel super sturdy, but it hasn't broken on me yet, and I'm not easy on it. It's a little clumsy upon full extension, but there are shorter poles that are still worse. The reason I bought this one is that it goes from 5ft to 16ft, which is the best available range. 6ft is hard to hike with, and most 5ft poles only go to 14/15 feet. At areas where the first bolt is like…

Pros
  • Lifetime warranty.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to securely attach cleaning supplies to the end of the pole

Life saver. - my new review

I have solar windows, which means I have windows that are over 15 feet high. We get stink bugs up there and have to knock them off. We also use this extension pole to dust the windows. It is pretty heavy though, so it is not ideal for precision work.

Pros
  • Did exactly what it promised.
Cons
  • Too heavy for me

Was factory defective

Products bottom twist lock spun freely and would not lock into position. I would recommend a clamp lock extension pole instead.

Pros
  • Aluminum
Cons
  • Can be expensive compared to other cleaning tools

strong, sturdy pole. excellent value.

Bought this to use with the gutter sense gutter cleaner. Pole is ribbed, giving a good grip. It has three extensions (total of 4 pieces fitting one within the other), so it compresses into a shorter pole than one with only two. Twist locks work great and don't come loose during use. Pole seems to have stops to prevent extensions from being opened too far, which is terrific. Pole is a little heavier than I expected, which is actually better so it's not flimsy. I've used this fully extended to 16

Pros
  • It helps save money by reducing the number of tools and cleaning supplies needed
Cons
  • Can cause fatigue in the hands and wrists

Do not buy , u will regret it just throw ur money n trash can

Pole is light, when u extend n turn to lock it does not last long , maybe a monthI purchased extend a reach very durable, lil heavier, but works easier n better with a30’ reach

Pros
  • Description is exact. This is just what I needed!!
Cons
  • my pole was used and broken dont buy
