Highly recommended

First stencil application. Read and watch DIY ahead of time and practice on the billboard. Stencil brushes and sponges are used. Makeup sponges were also used. Everything worked. It lost its glue, but only after prolonged use. I may have done this while washing the stencil. It didn't matter much. I used masking tape and it worked fine. The stencil was inexpensive, but it was a game changer for an accent wall.

Pros
  • Works on fabric and other surfaces
Cons
  • Available in white only

Disappointed

I don't have much experience with stencils to be honest, maybe that's typical but I found these stencils pretty flimsy. I used them to paint on 2x4 and they didn't stick at all. I ended up having to use stencil glue. They are quite thin so small areas tend to move around when you paint them and I don't expect you to be able to use them many times before they break. For the price I was expecting a heavier vinyl. I think the patterns are good, maybe they look better on fabric than on wood.

Pros
  • Adhesive prevents bleeding
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Not recommended.

These stencils look lovely when taken out of the box and I was hoping they would work but it ended up being a waste of money. It was very difficult to work with them. Aligning the letters even on a flat piece of wood was difficult to say the least. I spaced each letter out evenly and then found that the letters wouldn't work that way because the amount of material (oddly angled) surrounding the letters was different for each letter. About 45 minutes after setting the letters, measuring them…

Pros
  • Vinyl
Cons
  • No effect
