This is a single pole, single position, snap action, normally open switch. It has two connections for pressure cable lugs. It comes with two wrenches and a nut to hold it in place. If I were being critical I would note that the contacts are on the outside diameter of the switch. This isn't usually a problem unless you deep install it. In my application, I just soldered a few wires and used heat shrink tubing to insulate them.

I open the gate of an electric car with the switch. The key turns effortlessly. This is a snap-action switch that is normally open (off). Turning the switch clockwise closes (on) the switch. The switch returns to its original "off" position. The switch requires a 3/4" hole. My local hardware store had no problem with key duplication. Build quality is good and the lock nut holds the switch securely in place. 2 terminals fit standard crimp terminals.

I bought seven of these for my condo to allow DHL, UPS and Fedex access to our lobbies. They need the same keys (1 key to master them all). Overall length 2.05" including tongue. Bolt head thickness 0.25", diameter 0.83". Threaded barrel length 0.9". Barrel length is approximately 1.35". Spacing between barrel flats is approximately 0.63".
