Had to order a replacement and was defective too. The warehouse is down. I'm still waiting for a refund even though I sent them both back in mid-October.

Large scratches/nicks on the deck (as shown) are extremely disappointing. one of the first things i saw. terrible. We love colors. I was a little surprised that the steering wheel was so wide. This will take some getting used to. Ease of assembly was great.

Bought for my son's 10th birthday and he is obsessed! Although as a parent there were some things that didn't make me happy. The bottom was missing 1 screw to hold everything together and the bars were slightly scratched. Plus it's a cute scooter and the color is amazing!

I have all the boys scooters and this one was the best of the three we had. Sturdy and durable, my 13 year old put it to the test and it holds up well. The other mark we got for our 9 year old is to keep tightening the handlebars, this mongoose is a great deal and looks cool!

I can't really describe the durability or strength because we've never ridden them, when I installed the handlebars we immediately noticed that it was difficult to turn. I can only speculate as to why, but it feels like the bearings weren't lubricated so they just weren't smooth and didn't feel like they should, which is why we went back. I'm also not sure how they sell these scooters for teens, in my opinion they are more of a 6 to 10 year old size.
