This Mongoose MG78253-6 Fat Tire Tube, 26 x 4.0 far exceeds our expectations. Husband is very happy with the quality of this tube. He traveled everywhere and had no problems with him. Now we know where to get another tube if we need another. Although I don't think it will be anytime soon.

I have tried different brands of fat tubes and I think this one has the best packaging and the most consistent quality. There are no leaks, the surface is clean. And the markings on the tube even say it fits 4.0 - 4.9 tires. Some reviewers said the tubes were heavy. I don't feel like they are heavier than other tubes of this size.

As mentioned, my inner tube is rotten with small holes near the seams. Don't buy these whistles! It looks like they paid for the good reviews. If you look at the users, you will see that they all create their posts on the same days. Tube within 3 weeks (less than 200 miles)

I bought a Rad Rover bike (26 x 4.0) and it had more plates than I expected. I decided to replace the stock tires and tubes and these tubes fit the bill! I've had 3 tube changes since the replacement, all due to nails going through my tire/tube. No more petty reasons! I buy these now when I need to change my tubes and so far it has always been the cause of the damage and not just the spurs or something.

Use this as a cover between my truck cab and canopy. I keep both windows open and don't want any errors. I used some pool noodles glued together, but they became smooth on the sides and started to squeak. A commercial boot can cost up to $100 or more. I used long strands of gorilla tape to make an oval shape after the tube was blown. It also protects against rain.
