Done a job so far and it has worked very well. Removal of taped vinyl (VCT?) on concrete. Fall off in small pieces. With hand tools it would take forever. Holds up well after two hours of use. Has already paid for itself. I don't know how it works in a hoodset etc.
Unfortunately, after the first day of use, all the screws broke. Also, they broke up too often. I bought new ones from the store and was able to replace them after a lost day's work. The tool is very strong but heavy for most SDS plus machines, make sure you have a good tool (11lbs SDS max or more) otherwise it will be too heavy to lift.
So far so good Feet so far and it stays on, people say it's not sharp but if you use it it will sharpen or just with hit it with a hammer, it doesn't matter. Because of this, it doesn't need to be called trash. It really helps and with the sds max demo hammer it is better than burning sds plus drill.
Ok, does the blade go square at first without a sharp bevel? Serious? On a soil removal tool? You can't remove a thin layer with this blade, it slides over it because it doesn't have a sharp beveled edge. I thought about it when I first got it and looked at it. Also, the bolts are too small for this tool, which vibrates heavily from a large SDS-Max demo hammer. Less than 10 minutes later the nuts and bolts came loose. They are very small for this tool and I am sure they will break if not…
This demolition drill held up well but didn't work for me. I don't attribute this to the club but to my demolition hammer as it is rated at 11 pounds. impact energy. I highly recommend that you have at least 20 pounds of impact resistance if you plan to use this attachment effectively. That being said, I can say that this beat is solidly designed and built. Just to reiterate, this is not a negative review of the bit, but rather an indication that this bit does not work well with a low powered…
