good price for what it is

I've been using this tripod for a few weeks now and it works as expected. The bowl head is a game changer when it comes to alignment. I wish there was a bubble on the dish but I have a bubble on the tripod head so it's not a big deal. I will update this review if there are any issues but so far I really like this tripod.

It's strong and light

I've had over a dozen tripods but none of them were good for wide angle astrophotography. This tripod has exceeded all expectations and has features that I have not had in any other tripod. The phone app is a handy feature that I use to keep an external battery to power my mount. A bit pricey but not compared to other mid-range and high-end tripods.

A quality tripod can compete with expensive professional tripods

I've wanted a true professional tripod for a long time but I've kept looking for one that doesn't cost 1,000 euros and is made of carbon fiber for the sake of lightness manufactured. very sturdy for any setup and big enough that a 6'3" guy didn't have to bend down to look at the lens. Surprisingly durable and great for astrophotography

I really want to be honest about what to expect. This tripod is as solid as a rock on a hard surface. I'm amazed at how little flex this tripod has, even at full height. I use it for astrophotography and it gives me an extra 30 seconds of shutter speed. It's a bit heavier than what I'm used to, but I knew I'd only be using it for my astrophotography, so it's not even an afterthought.

So I literally had one of the best Really Right Stuff tripods in the world. Had to be replaced due to loss. I didn't have $1500 on another RRS so I needed something that worked well but wasn't $1500. Great for Milky Way photography, better than RRS and Feisol tripods for astrophotography

I just made a YouTube video discussing Milky Way photography tripods and ball heads used with a star tracker be able. I wanted to leave Really Right Stuff and just return the Feisol Tournament tripod. These tripods are good, but this Chinese copy is actually better and more stable.
