I bought this item for my office and it works perfectly in transmitting data. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I was able to realize that it had a good conductor and the stranded wires made it very durable. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for affordable and reliable Electronics. The only downside was that it took a bit of manipulation to connect it to my office phone.

For those who care about length, yes it's a 1000ft coil. The picture seems a lot smaller. I didn't measure the full length, but I only took five 25-foot lengths of it and it didn't wrinkle much. Had no problems connecting RJ11 plugs to it, seems to work fine.

If you just go point to point the cable works fine. But if you need to splice a cable or join multiple cables together (like you have to do to connect a house to a shared phone line), this cable is a nuisance. The strands in the cable are thinner than my hair. I spent hours with a razor blade trying to strip the conductor's thin coating without severing the tiny strands.
