Supports switching to PCs that have gone to sleep

I was very pleased to see a Displayport 1.4 KVM Switch with USB 3.0 for under $100 backed by the US company. I wanted a switch that supports 144Hz and Gsync. I'm happy to report that this one does. That being said, I chose this switch because Monoprice told me it retains the PC's ability to wake up if I switch back to them after they've gone to sleep. Switches in this price range usually don't do this. When the Switch arrived I confirmed that it somehow handles it - the PC wakes up as promised.

Pros
  • Supports resolutions up to 4K@60Hz including 3840x2160, 4096x2160 and all 3D video modes.
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

No HDR or 140Hz at 1440p. 1440p at 120Hz works great; some USB issues

This device works well enough, I would have preferred to use USB-C and DisplayPort 1.4 - although for the money it's nice not to have to switch cables between my Mac and PC. The shortcuts are a little fiddly and annoying, but at least the mono price gives you the ability to use physical face buttons, mouse shortcuts, keyboard shortcuts, and an IR remote.

Pros
  • Supports HDR and Deep Color at 16 bits per channel (48 bits total) for DisplayPort and 12 bits per channel (36 bits total) for HDMI. Compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8/10, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems.
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Nearly perfect. for computers and accessories

I am very happy with my KVM. However, I needed to update a driver on one of my computers for KVM to pick it up. So if you are facing this problem, try this. The only real thing I wished for from this KVM, and the reason I couldn't give it 5 stars, is the ability to use keyboard shortcuts when plugged into the front panel ports. You must connect to the keyboard port for them to work. And the keyboard port cannot accept multiple USB inputs, so you cannot connect a hub to the keyboard port. I plug

Pros
  • Offers speeds of up to 32.4 Gbps for DisplayPort and 18 Gbps for HDMI.
Cons
  • Makes me nervous
