These connectors are difficult to crimp. Even when crimping with a kung fu death grip, I sometimes still had to crimp the connector multiple times. Even with proper crimping and passing a cable tester, these connectors were loose in their sockets, resulting in unreliable or poor-quality connections. On some devices, the retaining clip didn't even click into place, allowing the connector to pop out. You are terrible.

Excellent connectors, I've been through a few hundred with no problems solid Cat6, Cat5 and even Direct Burial Cat6 (tight fit). For those who say the latches are faulty or don't engage, after you've crimped the latch, take the latch and bend it back almost all the way (don't worry, it won't break) and then put it back on its normal position. and they will work as they should. Some crimping tools will ruin the tab on these types of connectors, but this is a quick fix.

TERRIBLE connections. I bought them because I connected a couple of IP cameras. I tried 30 of these connectors and only 2 of them passed the test after the cables were assembled. They just didn't pierce/contact the wires. I ended up going to Laws and got a box of 50 for about $10. Double the price, but from 30 pieces each is properly tested afterwards! Contrary to other reviewers, even after a slight bend, the clip still doesn't fit. Not only does it barely snap into place, it also doesn't fit well into the plug itself. Yes, it works, but if you're looking for decent quality then this isn't the place. On the plus side, you get 100 for a pretty low price.
