Disappointment on My Ride

i purchased a shock absorber for my automotive after reading about the benefits of a recommended product from a friend. Although it was marketed as a performance-enhancing product I was disappointed after installing it to not feel any noticeable improvements while driving. Unfortunately, I didn't find any significant impact, nor any impressive improvements. Nonetheless, it was easy to install and helped me save some money. .

Pros
  • Easy to install, affordable
Cons
  • No performance improvement

1993 Chevy 1500 with shocks

Good price for a basic gas shock. I am "restoring" this 4WD pickup to give it a youthful look again (260,000+ miles). The frame shocks wore out (toast) and these shocks provided a smoother ride (especially on railroad tracks haha) and improved cornering. IMHO this stock will bring them back to stock levels, maybe a little better depending on your perspective/opinion. If you want more, you have to spend significantly more for a damper on another model with sportier performance/handling.

Pros
  • Parts
Cons
  • Reliability
