🚗 Monroe 32403 Plus Monro-Matic Shock Absorber Review

This is an extremely cheap set of shock absorbers made in Mexico. What do you expect? I expected more than they delivered, tighter than my old, smaller piston bore (false advertising). Terrible paint quality but overall they work.

Easy to install but the mechanic had to adapt it to my 2000 bug because the top of this rack was different than the one they removed from the car. Plus, it was a quick and easy install. Now my car doesn't fall apart at every bump, it drives like new again!

I just installed a pair of these on my 2001 VW New Beetle 1.9L GLS TDI. Wow! So easy to install and they fit perfectly just like the original hardware parts. I was literally done in less than 1 hour after UPS delivered them to my doorstep. I can't wait to ride her. My old originals fell apart completely at 97,000 miles.

This item does not fit my VW Jetta, although the description says it does. I didn't have time to go back and wait for the right product to arrive. The upper shock mount was the wrong size, I pounded on my lathe and turned it over. The lower shock mount was too small so I drilled it to size. Seller does not know what he is selling, will never buy from this seller again. Purchase at your own risk.

Always replace in pairs, they fit perfectly in the back of my 2001 Volkswagen Beetle. The only thing that really worries me is that the boxes were different and one was not the same Manufacturer's name and there was no quality control, which made me suspicious. Otherwise they were identical, I put them on my car, I did notice a difference and ride quality due to the different shock absorbers on each side, but it wasn't too bad and they probably wear out pretty quickly because I live on a dirt…
