Durable Reliable ride

I have a second pair of these shocks. I have them on a 2000 suburban Chevy with 345,000 miles. They ensure a reliable ride for many years.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Low repairability

great autoride replacement

This was a great replacement for my old 2001 Yukon XL Denali Autoride shocks. After unhooking the old shock. Disconnect the battery, remove the automatic trip fuse and reconnect the battery. Great ride and no service code!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Big upgrade to shocks, struts and suspension

Installed on my 2003 Yukon XL about 500 miles ago. Significantly improved ride and handling. The only odd thing is that one box had 2 packs of washers and nuts and the other had none. Time and kilometers will tell how they hold up!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Protection

Adapted to Chevy Tahoe Z71 2002, 4X4

Front shock absorbers require a little more work than rear shock absorbers to replace. Grip the shock shaft with pliers to keep it from turning while you use a ratchet from the engine bay to loosen the nuts. To be honest I didn't want to jack up the truck and remove the front wheels. , but it was a good decision, I felt comfortable while working. The original shocks for this SUV were Rancho's, but I don't use an off-road truck, there may be occasional gravel or light mud, which isn't enough for

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Seems to make the ride a bit more difficult

What I liked was the colour. What I didn't like were the bushings/washers that come with the shocks. They seem small in size and scope compared to OEM. does it mean something I'm not sure, but when you're doing shock work you want everything to look the way it's supposed to. Another thing is that the Fits Your Car tool needs to be updated to account for vehicles that have more than standard suspension on them. I almost bought the wrong rear shocks just because their functionality would have…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Cleanliness
