Nissan D21 Hardbody

Great replacement/upgrade for my Nissan D21 Hardbody. This shock is about 1 inch shorter and slightly stiffer than the stock shock. The color is not of the best quality, but the price suits me perfectly.

Pros
  • Decent Performance
Cons
  • Crumpled

To hell with Sears with their supposed lifetime warranty. .

To hell with Sears with their supposed lifetime warranty. They want to charge the buyer $40 for each shock absorber to replace under warranty. Then the real "kick in the balls", they don't replace shock absorbers in pairs. Only the shock absorber was defective. It was cheaper to replace all four shock absorbers with the same product. Revain helped me with that.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Hard to say

Excellent shock absorbers suitable as spares

I had to buy these shock absorbers from another seller as I never received them from Revain. Revain refunded my money straight away which impressed me, thanks for that. Now for those shocks. I bought these shock absorbers for my 1998 Nissan Frontier King Cab. Bought shock absorbers and strut bushings. After installing all 4 shocks and strut bushings on my 121,000 mile truck it now runs like a new truck at 122 miles. I recommend these shocks and Moog polyurethane strut bushings (blue) for aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Non automatic

Good investment!: Shock Absorber

Purchased from The Parts Authority. Got a low price, fast shipping and they combined my shipping costs for a set of 4 shock absorbers. The employees of this company make a special effort to please their customers. Monroe Sensa-Trac shocks work great on my '91 and '97 Nissan hardback pickups. I replaced the soft, worn out shock absorbers. Doesn't matter! Ride hard but comfortably. Climbs bumps in the road without skidding. runs better. Revain does not list a warranty, but these shocks areโ€ฆ

Good value for money!

In my opinion these Monroe shock absorbers (front and rear in my case) represent good value for money; but have no illusions. You get what you paid for and a quality product in the end when all is said and done. I am offering this review having driven over 1500 miles with the shocks in question. I bought the shock absorbers in question for an old Nissan Hardbody 2WD OEM Suspension Truck. These Monroe shocks are perfect for the truck with no problems other than installing it in the drivewayโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • A few small things
