IMPROVES STABILITY -- ASD (Acceleration Sensitive Damping) valving technology and fluon-banded piston deliver greater control and handling while improving ride comfort. IMPROVES PERFORMANCE -- Nitrogen gas-charge maintains tire-to-road contact for improved ride and handling by reducing aeration and shock fade. CONSISTENT RIDE -- OE all-weather fluid contains special additives to assist with extreme temperatures and help reduce oil breakdown. Attention buyers. best spare parts

I bought this as a brand new product. However, it looks like a refurbished device. It was poorly painted, the original OESpectrum decal was missing on the side, and there should have been a plastic retainer to keep it from fully expanding. Even the box was different from the other three same shocks I bought. i will return it Attention buyers.

Pros
  • automotive
Cons
  • high price

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I bought 4 for the whole truck.

They seem like a good replacement for the shock and strut insert. The price is quite a savings compared to buying locally. Delivery to my door is much better than going anywhere. Unfortunately, the two frames I was sent did not fit, although the part number was checked before ordering. 2 shock absorbers fit perfectly. Luckily, Revane took good care of arranging the return.

Pros
  • Shock absorbers, struts and suspension
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

After a year of having them, I now regret lowering the price of my suspension. It handles only marginally better than the old Toyota OEM suspension that blew up and didn't work. It's a pogos and spikes when flipping a little more than gravel (even the transition from my overpass to the road is very noticeable). I had to take the same stance on my suspension as I did on the tires, a higher quality for elements that provide traction and stay on the road.

Pros
  • Shocks
Cons
  • Modernity

Inexpensive, easy to fit

Inexpensive, easy to fit. It's an economic shock. It absorbs bumps in the road well. I put it on a Tacoma and they're great right out of the box. There's so much you can do with my truck, but it's a good shock for a good price. Don't expect miracles.

Pros
  • BUILT TO LAST - Self-lubricating liquid seal retains gas and reduces excessive piston rod friction to reduce premature wear
Cons
  • High Price

Buyers Attention: Parts

I purchased this product as brand new. However, it looks like a refurbished device. It was poorly painted, the original OESpectrum decal was missing on the side, and there should have been a plastic retainer to keep it from fully expanding. Even the box was different from the other three same shocks I bought. i will return it Attention buyers.

Pros
  • BUY WITH CONFIDENCE - Backed by Monroe's Limited Lifetime Warranty and Exclusive Feel the Difference Guarantee
Cons
  • Waiting Too Long

A year later I regret falling in price with the suspension.

Pros
  • INCREASES PERFORMANCE - Nitrogen gas keeps the tire in contact with the road, improving ride and handling by reducing ventilation and absorbing shock.
Cons
  • The list is getting long.
