🚚 Monroe OESpectrum Truck Shock Absorber 37149 Review

Bought these mufflers at the end of May 2021 and at the end of August 2021 one of the mufflers is already leaking. The manufacturer of the product says it is made in China. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for a non-Chinese product. You'll save time and heartache in the long run.

I mounted this Monroe 37149 on my regular Silverado cab 05, a long platform with 265/17 series tires for a 100k fit larger tires. The new shocks have raised the front end and they ride and handle very well. I mainly use the truck for my daily commute to work. Very happy with these dampers.

I used to use Monroe Reflex shocks and liked them. I installed the Reflex and noted in my review that the truck must be on the ground with the suspension loaded to reinstall the top hardware. My mechanic did this when leveling the truck and he noticed the same thing but said it wasn't a problem after putting the truck back on the ground. drive well Gentle but controlled. Would buy again.

After installing the new rear Sensa-Tracs on my truck, I decided to replace the front ones as well. Received these new Sensa-Trac fronts and put them on with no problems. Now my truck is standing and drives like new. I also submitted a discount form for the Monroe Shocktober discount as I bought four new shocks. When I ordered these shocks I ordered it with 2 other shocks and 2 struts (for different vehicles) so it made sense to do this based on the total purchase price. For convenience, I'd be better off buying them from my local parts store. Unfortunately, these shock absorbers were not supplied with all parts. Although the packaging was not opened, one of the shock absorbers was missing the rubber bushings. Luckily I was able to purchase additional parts from my local parts store instead of waiting…
