quality and value.

Installed in my '94 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Precise fit. Handles all Colorado Rockies road conditions, from slippery to "are we still on our way?"

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Has had problems

The fit was perfect, the ride is ok. 2 years later.

Personally installed on a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee on a beautiful summer day a few years ago. Obviously a marked improvement in riding. They match the car perfectly.

Excellent fit for my old Jeep Xj

These bad guys made my 22 year old XJ nice and quiet again and it easily negotiates those wonderful Connecticut potholes. Really makes the movement smoother. I love her. This price is also unbeatable. However, they were not yellow.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Minor issues

Good quality shocks, best dampers, struts and suspension

I like the ride quality improvements. My 1996 Jeep Cherokee has better handling despite being 16 years old with original leaf springs and front coils. These Monroe Severe Shocks help reduce cornering roll and recover from bumps in the road. I swapped out all 4 at once and immediately felt the difference.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Perfect replacement shock absorbers

Have had them for a month now and they still ride well and reliably. They cope well with a gravel road and don't knock out teeth, but are strong enough to negotiate bumps effectively. On the road they are nice and smooth and have a firmer feel than the old shocks. I will be replacing my unwanted Sensa-trac load controllers that were leaking after only two months with these.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket

Don't let the tough service title confuse you.

Installed on a '98 Cherokee (first owner). It is a daily driver used for recreation. I put different shock absorbers on the jeep, but the ride suffered as a result. I did a little research and came across them. I was a little hesitant, thinking they would be too stiff (it's a jeep and you want all the comfort you can get). They offer a firm ride, but not a harsh one. If the Jeep lasts another 60,000 I will buy them again.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • High Price
