Really helps with a load too

Impressed with the stability the shock absorbers have given my van. I carry my wheelchair on my back all the time and that also helps with the extra pounds.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Runs like a shock champion

I dropped my van a few years ago. Now that I've added the weight to the rear, it rests on the rubber stops. Installed these shock absorbers and they raised him just enough to keep him from falling. Drives like a champ.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Long delivery time

It was a headache to install BUT.

Installation was a hassle BUT it was worth it! He lifted the back of a 1998 half-ton Ford van about an inch. The judder is gone and the van no longer crouches as much when towing. This is a much cheaper alternative to new springs!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Very pleased: shocks, struts and suspension

I installed this on a 2001 e150 that carries 1000lbs all the time. These bumps leveled the van with a slight lift at the rear. From the outside, the van looks like it has practically no weight. The shock absorbers also improved cornering and added stability on the highway. The improvements are noticeable.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • So-so

Helped with my old leaf springs

I have a 1999 Ford E150 Van, I've driven it over 150 miles and the leaf springs are pretty flat so I decided to try these spring adjustable dampers. (Replacing the leaf springs would be too expensive). These dampers work great. I don't plan on using this van for a few more years and it has breathed new life into my van.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some small things

The old shock absorbers were very bad. Those overload hits weren't that bad.

The old shock absorbers were very bad. Those G-Force shocks weren't that bad. The hardest part was tightening the top nut. The worst part was pulling out the old shock absorbers. The rear of the van now moves about one centimeter higher. Let's see how they work when we connect the camper and drive off.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
