Great Strut Mounting for a Smooth Automotive Ride!

The Monroe Strut Mate Strut Mounting has really made a difference in my car`s suspension system. As my tests showed, it greatly improved my car's balance and stability, making the ride much smoother. The installation was also easy and hassle-free. However, the price may be a bit steep for some... Overall I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to improve their car's performance..

Pros
  • Improves steering response and handling
Cons
  • May cause a noisy ride

Damaged my car for parts

I bought this product to fit the new Monroe struts 72257 and 72258 for my 2008 Ford Focus. The installation seemed to go fine, but after about a dozen miles my car started making new, scary clanking noises. After extensive troubleshooting, my mechanic found that the springs had slipped from the cylinder (this product) of the strut. If I had just reused the genuine Ford part I wouldn't have this problem. This product cost me $600 to repair. Stay away from Monroe products.
