Description of πŸ”§ Reflex 911539 Shock Absorber by Monroe Shocks & Struts

MAINTAINS VEHICLE CONTROL -- Monotube technology maintains vehicle control over bumps, dips and potholes for vehicles originally equipped with monotube shocks and struts. IMPROVED IMPACT ABSORPTION -- Hydraulic lock-out isolates suspension impact and helps maintain vehicle integrity (where applicable). CONSISTENT RIDE -- High temperature OE all-weather fluid contains special additives to assist with extreme temperatures and help reduce oil breakdown. EXCELLENT RESPONSE AND STABILITY -- High-pressure nitrogen charge provides a quicker response for excellent vehicle control. BUILT TO LAST -- High-strength shock housing and hardened, chrome-plated piston rod provide durability and longer service life. CONTROL AND DURABILITY -- Fluon-banded piston provides consistent sealing between piston and pressure tube for better control and increased durability. REDUCED SHOCK FADE AND AERATION -- Free floating dividing piston separates shock fluid from high-pressure gas charged to reduce shock fade and aeration.

Nice shock good price

As stiff as the stock Jeep Rubicon shocks. Easy installation and should take a while. I wish they were a little more responsive.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Standard but good for shocks, struts and suspension

They are stock so no improvement over new. But obviously you are not replacing new shock absorbers, but worn ones. Huge improvement over mine at 130,000 miles.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

I ordered 2 but different colors came

shock absorbers fit our jeep. but one came silver and one came black. I NEEDED to install shock absorbers because one of them broke and I needed a car to drive to work.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Clarity

Nothing special for shock absorbers

These shock absorbers are no better than the worn out junk shock absorbers (100,000+ km) they replaced. At first they seemed good, but after 3 days they were being hit just as badly as worn out pants. Nothing special in my opinion. They have been for 3 months now. Michael M

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Good replacement for worn Jeep JK Rubicon rear shocks

I replaced worn shocks with these when my odometer read 83,000 miles; One of the original shocks I removed lost its nitrogen charge. As a result, the handling is similar to the standard: hard, but not hard. Cushioning "boots" do not stretch like normal boots. These are hard cases, similar to standard shocks, but in the form of boots. My rating is based on the following configuration: 2007 JK Rubicon 2 Door Hard Top. for heavy bumper and winch) Rear Mopar Springs: 68004460AA (provide little lift

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Almost OK
