Easy to use, best for bike computers

I bought two of these (mountain and road) as I wanted to ditch my overly complicated Polar system. I only use them for cadence. Aside from having to switch to the Wahoo app (which I really like for its simplicity), setup was very easy. I tagged her in the app and she immediately recognizes which bike I'm riding. I highly recommend.

Very happy. the best bike computer

I originally bought a speed and cadence sensor but didn't need speed on my bike with the Peloton app. Edited to include a photo of the placement but if you want to connect to the app from your phone that's great. The cadence sensor turns on when you ride. So if you're having trouble connecting it, spin the wheel a little to turn it on, then try!

Good with Garmin watch

Assembly and installation very easy. It connects to my Garmin 630 watch and displays RPM on my watch. The only thing that bothers me is the stability. this. The connection takes about 20 seconds (which is normal) but when I pause and resume the watch it sometimes gets lost and I don't know until I look at the watch in the middle of a trip. Not sure if it's Garmin or Moofit. But there is something other buyers should pay attention to. But in general, for an amateur cyclist, this is more than…

Work with Wahoo! Outdoor Sports & Leisure Accessories

Insert CR2032 battery (remove plastic cover from it) and put it back, the cadence sensor is very easy to assemble, it is very easy to fix with thick rubber bands in the kit. It's significantly cheaper than the alternatives offered by Wahoo, it connects very quickly and easily via Bluetooth to the Wahoo app on my phone (it's best to put the sensor on the pedal first and then pedal, for the sensor to start working, so the Wahoo app can quickly detect it). Overall I am very happy with it and can…

Best suited for sports and outdoor accessories

The first battery I received didn't work with either the one supplied or my own but the company replaced the item very quickly and then the little blue one lit up LED on face when battery compartment is closed. It only seems to work with a few apps; I use OpenRider which syncs with my Strava account. I don't see how to view real time cadence in this app but my saved ride has it. I can try the Wahoo app (wouldn't it be great if I could show the app on the iPhone lock screen?). But for the price,

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Hard to tell

This device was recognized once by the Wahoo app. But when I rode my Sunbike the next day, it was nowhere to be found. I opened the device and put the battery back in, but Wahoo still couldn't find it. However, it can find other devices. I then downloaded the Cadence app to make sure there was no issue with the Wahoo app. But Cadance couldn't connect either. Then I tried to find that sensor using the Peloton app and it couldn't find that sensor either. So three strikes and one out. I am…

The Peloton app is a game changer!

I love the sensor! Works well with the Peloton app. A revolutionary tool to get the most out of your workout. I use an exercise bike ($75) that turns a regular street bike into an indoor bike. With a heart rate monitor and cadence sensor, you can have an experience that rivals a $2,000 bike. I've noticed that since I've had the cadence sensor, I've been training harder and training better with the peloton. If you're on the fence, "doing it right" is a good investment. You can follow the video…

  • Electronics

  • Crumpled

Does what it's supposed to - sends cadence data very reliably. It copes quite well with very bad roads and the resulting vibrations, but does not reject such data artifacts 100%. When driving on a bumpy horrible pavement I make sure to stand up and keep the wheel clear as the cadence will reach >180rpm when the correct value is 0. However, this under extremely bad road conditions - the railway is in bad condition. Tracks I still get out of the saddle for aren't a problem, and I'd expect any…
