Great U-joints: Spare parts

I installed these U-joints in all 3 places on my 1990 Lincoln Mark VII (cardan joint). My 5.0 is pretty standard, but I'm hitting my transfer daily. they replace joints lubricated with Duralast. I chose solid U-joints for strength.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Modern

Looks and feels super cool!

You look really good. I will update and change my review if necessary. I was going to settle for the Dana Spicers until someone recommends them for a savings of almost 2 to 1. Moog doesn't throw away bullshit. I'd be surprised if I came back to say otherwise!

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Many things

As good or better than the Spicer

Purchased to make my Wrangler rear driveshaft. I bought the cheap ones first. Do not do that. All you do is create more work later. While they are doing well, I check them regularly. Overall I would recommend them (I ran Spicer but the last 2 I installed failed after about 2 months).

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Can't remember

Always great service from Moog

It's hard to consider something that takes 'a lifetime' to appreciate properly. It looked good and fit well when I installed it. Driven a few thousand kilometers, nothing remarkable. I have installed 13 Moog crosses on F350 and Wrangler in the last 6 months and have had good experiences with all of them. I buy well-known American brands where I need maximum reliability and Moog has never let me down.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • security

Showcasing Moog quality in gimbals

Moog will never be the most valuable part to choose from but generally you can expect top quality from them. I've used several of these U-joints and they all fit very well meaning there are manufacturing tolerances. Inexpensive U-Joints can also work and I may have rolled them at times, but on a few occasions I've been able to find them in Revain inventory as new items at a great price, so why not?

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not the best

Always happy with Moog

First I have to say that I have probably changed more than 60-70 joints so I can tell you about it. With these Moog u-hinges, I've never seen them fit or fit so perfectly in my life. They fit absolutely perfectly in my 2000 Toyota Tundra SR5 4x4 4.7L with standard cab and 8ft front driveshaft. And yes, I already have Spicer and Msubo hinges installed. I don't know if it was just my use but now I will buy Moog u Joints for it. Big as a glove

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Frequency
