Much cheaper than VW springs but rust quickly

I have used these springs on several VW Jetta Wagons. They are the right height and much smaller than original VW parts. When installing, make sure that the springs are aligned in the same way as the original springs, otherwise you will be "AFRAID" of the rear carrier if there are bumps. When looking at the bottom support, make sure the end of the springs are in (pointing straight back). They rust quickly but for the price you can buy another set when they wear out.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Cleanliness

People warned you!

Terrible product, said it would fit my GTI so I was thrilled to replace my old springs with new ones. I installed Moog springs on my 2003 Vw GTI less than 3 months ago (I didn't know the warranty was only 1 month). Shortly after installation, I noticed that the backend likes to vibrate. The spring rate turned out to be much higher than my stock springs, causing my car to bounce down the road and possibly busting my car in corners (not to mention other drivers). In addition to the unusually high

Installed it on my 02 VW Jetta GLX Sports Wagon. Bilstein 24-064095 shock absorbers are fitted but the rear seems too springy so I added these springs to stiffen the rear. I tend to load the machine with heavy items so I need extra support. These are non-OEM parts and will give your car a little boost. 8-1&keywords=24-064095 Please note that you may need to pay more attention to how the lower springs are aligned compared to the upper ones. They are a bit longer and have a slightly different…

2007 Beetle Great Rear Spring Replacement

The springs were about 2 inches taller, nearly 1/8 inch larger in diameter at the coil, and the ends were nearly identical. It was hard to tell how the spring should have been installed as it was different from the original, but I found that the spring only fit one way. If the spring is rotated wrongly or installed upside down, the end of the spool when installed in the position of the rubber bushing and base holder will come into contact with the lever and will not work without interference…
