Superb Ball Joints - Ball Joints

Perfect for my 2001 Grand Marquis. The ones I replaced were the originals. Installation took about an hour and was easy.

Ball Joint Auto Parts Review

Great item, works great, very easy to install and works great eliminating the need to replace the part once the grease has worn off. I like it :)

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Nothing Here

Wrong size screw: Ball joints

I don't know if it's a Chinese fake or what but the screw that attaches the ball joint to the spindle is the wrong size, ordered two of these. for each side, and none of the bolts were right, not even close. Alignment holes are turned off compared to OEM. Thought the vibe was quality, I don't think so.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Interval

Essential if your car has 100,000 miles on original hinges.

My Grand Marquis is having a good ride now. I would recommend replacing the original equipment upper ball joints after about 100,000 miles or when the seals look worn. The older they get, the harder it is to separate them from the spindle. They install fairly easily and are well built.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some issues

Good solid parts that fit.

Replacement parts arrived very quickly. Parts looked a bit sturdier than OEM. They were easy to install. The joints were nice and stiff. Very close connection. The tricky part is getting the old rotating bar out of its 20 year state. Everything fitted tightly. The boots were stout and nippled. I greased the hinges before installation. However, remove the nipples when installing as you will need to drive the stem into the hole where they sit. Then put the nipples back on. All in all I can…

Perfect parts! - Ball joints

Moog suspension parts are exactly what they sell as 'problem solvers'. Replace them all when they wear out and my car started rattling and running poorly. I installed all of the Moog suspension parts on my Lincoln Town Car and it's about as quiet as it gets. And Moog shares Revain. about half the price of what they have in national chain stores or elsewhere online!

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Upgrade available

Can you spot mirror fittings?!?!

If you plan on owning a car with more than 100,000 miles, you will need these ball joints in place of the factory non-lubricated joints. Moog makes these things almost bulletproof. I live in a snow belt and potholes eat away at car mounts like a kid eats candy. Salt and bad road abuse take a terrible toll on even the best car suspension designs. In my case I have an old police cruiser and the ball joints that were replaced were almost unusable. I have never had any problems with Moog components

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Negative sign present

Get those parts and keep those tires!

Today's tires are expensive, and your big Ford, Mercury or Lincoln will begin to wear out unevenly after about 40,000 miles. The ball joints and tie rod ends on Ford Motor Company large production vehicles are factory sealed and have no grease fittings. They are usually willing to shit for around 40-45k. A set of lubricated MOOG upper and lower ball joints, anti-roll bars and tie rod ends ensure your luxury car stays safe and smooth, the front end is precisely aligned and tire wear is kept to…
