Don't waste your money

Should be better than stock. You are no better. I've never had a Moog front steering part that can handle heavy loads. Save money and buy kryptonite parts.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

More like a cocking lever inserted into the .

Wrong. Correct box, correct part number, wrong part in box. More like a peeping-peel put in the wrong box. Now I feel deeply uncomfortable.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not the best

Moog manufactures high performance parts.

Moog offer this part in a souped up version and Moog has never disappointed me. The Firestone dealer across the street uses Moog parts, but they don't have heavy-duty versions and they cost twice as much. If you've modified your car or put oversized tires on it (like me), the steering components have to work harder and Moog's high-performance parts are a must.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Don't really like it, it's ok

Replaced the connecting rod on a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500, noticed the gimbal does not sit as far on the splined steering shaft as the factory part. The steering was stiff and would not return to center. Replaced by AC Delco 45C0069, steering is now perfect. Also measured were Taper Bore Splines Moog 1.090-1.141, AC 1.131-1.159, clearly poor quality control on the Moog, resulting in the bipod arm not fully seating on the steering box and causing the steering to bind.

Pros
  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • Easily Repairable

Doesn't fit properly, although Moog has confirmed this.

I called Moog direct to see if it would fit my 2004 GMC Seirra 1500 short cab 4x4. They said they would. After the assembly and professional alignment of the truck, the steering gear. I heard that the pump is working very hard. I then bought a factory AC delco drop arm and the steering worked great. Obviously this is the wrong part for my application. Save yourself the headache and skip buying this part. Every other Moog part in my front end purchased from Amazon was correct. Replaced…

Pros
  • Shocks, struts and suspension
Cons
  • Lightly dented

I've heard so many good things about this product moog

Bought for a 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe. The product was of poor quality, the splines were out of sync, I tried 2 of them. In the first, I had to keep the steering wheel in the 10-11 position to drive straight down the freeway. I took it off, inspected the gearing, it was slightly misaligned at the factory. I went to my local parts store and bought another one and installed it. I had to hold the steering wheel for 2 hours for the track to make a straight road. The factory block has 4 flats, and these
